LeMon's 2014 Mothers Day

We had an awesome time in Millville NJ. New Jersey Motor Speedway where Alan and the rest of the Glue Stick Racing Team raced. Check it out at 24 hours of LeMon's Racing. This is the second year of racing and many improvements had been made to the car, which paid off.......

Dover AFB Museum

Took our granddaughters to the Dover AFB  Museum, they loved it. They got to go into many of the static displays and simulators. This is a must place to visit when in the area and it is free!

Jacksonville Florida

The Pelican is from a fantastic boat ride on the Homosassa River, we saw otters, manatee's, osprey's, monkey's and a bobcat. The ship is one of many that passes by the campground here, what a beautiful view. I love this place!

Update

Down town Disney, me and my new Harley, and Janet diving the Florida Natural truck. Still enjoying the Florida weather, it is getting nice now, spring has sprung here. Going to Lakeland tonight to look at a house Cody and Sarah are interested in. Starting to think about heading home as the weather should be changing for the better and we are missing it now. Rain in the forecast tomorrow (but warm) and we plan to go to Old Key West Resort on Thursday and hang out with friends.

Motorhome Hunting

Donna and Kenny Clendaniel are motorhome hunting! We all looked with them, Dottie and Dan, Charlie and Lynn, and of course Janet and I. We actually took one for a test drive. We won't be surprised if they have one before they get back from Texas. As for us? I think we'll keep what we have for awhile, but it is fun to look and dream.

Sand Crane

These long legged birds come around the campground every so often. They made a lot of noise as they walk around. Seem to mostly eat bugs, still trying to see if they will fit in the crock pot (they gotta taste like chicken).

Florida State Fair

Florida State Fair was like the Delaware State Fair only a lot bigger! Makes sense huh? walked around all day and had fair food. Topped it off with strawberry shortcake!

Cherry Pockets

Cherry Pockets, is a hole in the wall bar and food place. To see it without recommendations you would not enter the joint. But, we had been told this place has a awesome Grouper sandwich and we were not disappointed. Becky bought us lunch here, thank you Becky! We have been back one more time since, the Grouper Platter and chicken wings are great too!

Good bye 2013, Hello 2014

Well 2013 is history, we spent New Years Eve at Cody and Sarah's house. Rusty was there as well. Cody made homemade pizza and chicken wings, yummy good. We played domino's and Janet stayed up to watch the ball drop ( the rest of us crashed ).
     We are now experiencing a cold spell, it got down to the upper thirties which is cold for here. The high is suppose to get to 49, then back to the 80's by the weekend. I actually made a batch of chili in the crock pot for dinner tonight.
